TH Vancouver has an experienced and caring full-time Housing Director who places students in safe, comfortable homes in pleasant neighborhoods. It takes approximately 20-40 minutes to get to and from the school by bus. Our Housing Director is available 24 hours a day to answer students’ questions and discuss their concerns. Our student housing is $23 per night for a single room.

Hotel Options

There are several hotels located within walking distance to International House. Please see below for three convenient options.

Park Inn and Suites on Broadway

Located within 10 minute walking distance to Teaching House, Park Inn and Suites is a full service hotel with an on-site fitness center, free high speed Internet, parking, valet and laundry facilities. If you are traveling with a dog or cat, Park Inn has a few select pet-friendly rooms. All rooms include a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The International House’s preferred rate from October 15 through April 30 is $65 per night with a 30 night minimum. From May 1 through October 14 the price is $110 per night with a 30 night minimum.

Shaughnessy Village

A long term bed and breakfast located within walking distance to the Teaching House, Shaughnessy Village is a cozy alternative to a hotel. Amenities include full complimentary breakfast, a fitness facility and video rentals. Gated parking is available for $8 per day. Shaughnessy Village is priced monthly from $945 for a single room studio to $1,475 for a two room suite.

Holiday Inn Hotel Vancouver-Centre Holiday Inn

A full service hotel with a business center, free high speed Internet in all rooms, fitness center, sauna, on-site laundry facilities and a 24 hour lounge area. The hotel is located within 15 minute walking distance to International House. Rates start at $90 per day.
